If your BMI is Weight gain recommended

  • Less than 18 28-40 pounds
  • 18 to 25 25-35 pounds
  • More than 25 15-25 pounds
  • Having twins 35-45 pounds
  • Is it possible to lose weight and regain your figure after having a baby?

Definitely! You can go back to your pre-pregnancy weight. If your weight gain during pregnancy was no more than that recommended in the above table, you should be able to return to your pre-pregnancy weight within about 8-10 months. This may sound slow, but in reality, you cannot lose weight much faster while maintaining good health. MV Nutrition can develop a healthy and nutritious personalized menu which will provide you with the recommended vitamins and minerals and help you lose the weight gained during your pregnancy.
